Partnership also covers future expansion areas
1&1 and Deutsche Glasfaser are entering into a long-term wholesale cooperation agreement, thereby ensuring a greater variety of fiber optic products, particularly in rural and suburban areas. As part of the infrastructure cooperation, Deutsche Glasfaser's local fiber optic networks will be connected to 1&1's high-performance nationwide transport network. As a result, more than 2.5 million additional households will have access to 1&1's attractive fiber optic offerings in the future. This will further expand 1&1's strong nationwide presence in the fiber optic market.
1&1 fiber optic tariffs are characterized by speeds of up to 1,000 megabits per second and affordable prices. Just recently, 1&1 was confirmed as Germany's best landline provider in the renowned landline test conducted by the consumer portal IMTEST. And according to the major customer satisfaction studies conducted by the trade journal connect, 1&1 has the most satisfied landline and mobile phone customers in Germany.*

As part of the partnership, 1&1 will also connect other areas, where Deutsche Glasfaser plans to expand in the future, to 1&1's nationwide transport network and offer 1&1 fiber optic products there as well. Both companies are thus making an important contribution to providing more and more households with future-proof fiber optic connections based on state-of-the-art technology.
